Caesium

Caesium is a completely free Windows utility designed to work with graphic files. It is possible to reduce the weight of images by compressing them. There is also functionality responsible for editing pictures and converting them to other formats.

Compressing images

The main function of the application is to reduce the size of graphic files. Thanks to this, the user can reduce the space occupied on the drive, as well as send content to messenger or mail. To compress an image, the user should add it to a computer program. The utility is able to work with various picture extensions, including BMP, SVG, JPEG, TIFF and PNG. After adding a file, the user needs to specify the desired compression level. It should be noted that a strong reduction in the weight of the picture negatively affects its quality. However, with moderate compression, the user will not notice any changes. The application is equipped with an option for batch compression of graphic content. Due to this the user is able to quickly process a large number of pictures.

Additional functions

The developers have added a converter to the computer program. Thanks to it, the user is able to change the extension of a graphic file. Among the supported formats are: PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP and a number of others. The program has its own editor for making changes to graphic content. However, a small number of tools are available to the user. With their help, you can change the aspect ratio, resolution and so on.
