Smarterra

Smarterra is an application for Android gadgets with which you can watch TV series and movies with virtual reality support. This allows you to enjoy the incredible realism of everything that happens, but to feel it you need special VR glasses.

Usage

The first thing that is needed from the user is to carry out the customization of the glasses. This will require one additional application - Cardboard. Next, you need to run any file in mp4 format, the main thing is that it should be recorded on the phone, no matter whether it is on the internal or external memory. Control of the process is available through eye and head movements, but only when the VR goggles are worn by the user. When the user starts a particular movie, it is easy to rewind it to the right moment, make sound adjustments or stop playback. To go to the menu you only need to hold your eyes on the exit point of the VR - theater.

Without VR

You can use the application without special glasses, but in this case it is not convenient to work with it at all. After all, the control by normal taps is not provided, in this case the control is carried out by a white dot, which is static. When the user starts to turn the phone or move it, it stays in the same place. To do something you need to hit it on a certain point of the screen. From the outside it may seem funny, but in reality it is very inconvenient. Also, the picture is displayed on two parallel screens at once, which is very hard on the eyes.
