MuLab

MuLab is a Windows application for creating and editing musical compositions. There is an extensive catalog of effects and virtual instruments, and a built-in modular synthesizer. You can connect and use external devices to load content or enter notes manually using the editor.

Modules

After creating a project, the user can specify musical instruments to proceed. Guitars, pianos and many others are represented. An extensive selection of samples is available. The musician can customize each module and save the new configuration. The program allows you to generate your own synthesizers. Built-in effects can be edited and saved as ready-made templates.

Recording

To create a new track, you need to switch to the editing mode. External devices can be used for recording, experienced users can use a special editor for manual input of notes. It is possible to change the current frequency characteristics of the sound, correct the tone and much more. Standard track mixing mode is supported - for this purpose, a virtual remote control is activated. A full-featured sequencer is integrated. To expand functionality, you can use third-party plug-ins, which allows you to flexibly customize the capabilities of the studio for specific tasks. There is a built-in help section with a description of the interface and the main features of the program. The process of initial equipment setup is also described. There is a search module for quick access to the necessary section.
