MediaUp

MediaUp is an Android application that allows you to find out the latest news, developed by Rambler specialists. It is possible to specify in the settings the necessary sections to form a personalized feed.

Materials

The start page displays the latest current news. Informative articles, reports, videos and other content are also available. You can save a link to a publication in your favorites or send it to your friends. All major spheres of life are covered - politics, economy, culture, science and so on. The program allows you to form a selection by the necessary keywords. You can track information about a particular event or city. Only verified information is used, while the interface is completely free of third-party advertising.

Feed

The user can mark materials that he liked. The information is analyzed by an algorithm to select news. It is possible to form a personalized selection of events in the world. The feed has a compact form, containing only the title and a brief description. To go to the full version you need to click on the link. Gesture control is supported, you can adjust the scale.

Video

A separate tab contains video reports. A catalog with categories, a search form and a set of filters are used. This allows you to quickly get a selection of suitable clips. The built-in player has all the necessary options for control, including switching to full-screen mode. It should be taken into account that stable network access is required to view the video. It is also possible to save the clip to the device for offline viewing. The file has a standard extension, which allows you to use any player for playback.
