Capture NX D

Capture NX D is a Windows application designed to open RAW photos. Only Nikon cameras are supported. There is a built-in photo converter. This format is used to save data from the camera sensor without modification. Such files weigh significantly more, but also allow you to save more data. Therefore, they are preferable for use in professional editors, since the final photo turns out to be of higher quality. At the same time, the specialist gets more opportunities in the process of processing the file. There are also tools for simple editing of pictures. It is possible to upload images in JPEG and TIFF formats.

Viewing

When launching the application, you need to select a directory and load a set of images for processing. The left side of the window contains a file manager for easy navigation. It automatically recognizes supported files, displays their list or a set of thumbnails. Once opened, you can select the scale for more comfortable viewing. You can read out service information, including camera model, geolocation data, and the exact date the photo was taken.

Editing

There is a compact panel with tools for quick processing of uploaded photos. You can cut an area, resize, adjust brightness and other parameters. A histogram is available, which shows the distribution of pixels of the main colors - this tool is often used by specialists. A convenient converter is built in, allowing you to convert the file to a more universal format. If a printer is connected, you can send the image for printing.
