OverDrive

OverDrive is an Android app for accessing an extensive library of digital books. There are publications in text, audio and video formats, and it is possible to rent them. A huge number of libraries are connected to the project, which allows to provide a wide choice of literature.

Libraries

The catalog is collected with the participation of libraries from all over the world - more than 30 thousand organizations of different levels and directions. While working with the catalog you can select an institution by name, city or index. It is possible to open the full list from a certain city, as well as to form your own list for quick access. It is possible to send requests to the library with the list of books you need. Specialists will consider the request and provide an answer. Each organization forms its own unique selection of literature, voicing or scanning works. It is worth considering that to access the catalog you need a valid subscription of the library, which is a participant of the project.

Bookshelf

A separate tab of the application allows you to create your own selection of literature. Books are added to the virtual bookshelf and automatically deleted after the lease is over. This provides protection against additional penalty for violations of the usage period. All used books can be found in the "History" section. In the settings, you can change the default folder for saving, as well as activate the download only when connected via Wi-Fi. This mode allows you to save mobile traffic and not to load the channel. With a large number of saved books, you can use the search mode or sorting by the desired parameters - file type, download date, title and so on.
