RocketDock

RocketDock is a Windows application that allows you to place a convenient shortcut bar in a certain part of your desktop. This element is popular among Mas OS X users, being a kind of business card. Therefore, many developers began to actively create similar tools for other platforms. The module allows you to get quick access to folders and various components of the platform that are used relatively often, but to access them you need to use search or a few mouse clicks. The design and behaviors can be customized. In particular, you can activate automatic hiding, transparency, animation, icon positioning and more.

Elements

After installing and activating the program, a panel with default settings will be displayed. The set consists of 10 icons. By dragging and dropping the panel, you can move it to any side of the monitor. The application provides access to the following components:

• user documents;
• music catalog;
• images;
• the regular toolbar;
• network settings panel;
• trash can.

To edit the default set it is enough to right-click on the panel to call the context menu. Next, you need to specify the path to the desired directory or file. Deleting a shortcut is performed in the same way.

Customization

It is possible to customize the design and animation - shadow color, font, transparency and more. A separate option is responsible for automatically hiding the die if it is not accessed for a certain time.
