Star Chart is an Android application that is an interactive guide to the universe. You can learn a lot about outer space, celestial bodies, the structure of the Milky Way and so on. Virtual reality technology is actively used. You can quickly get information about visible objects. For the correct operation of the application, it is necessary to provide access to the compass and current location. Information from official sources is used, which ensures the correctness of the data.

Star guide

One of the interesting features of the program is the function of detecting stars in the sky. By pointing the camera at the desired part of the sky, the user gets an interactive image with a set of objects. Recognized objects are marked with a special icon. When you click on it, a panel with detailed information is displayed. You can learn the name of the star, distance, stage of development and much more. A similar mode can be used for large constellations and other objects.

Three-dimensional model of the Universe

The next mode allows you to build a three-dimensional model of a part of the universe located near our planet. Using the navigation bar, you can go on a virtual journey, approaching certain planets and comets. Detailed objects are used, of which there are quite a lot. In the process, you can use the zoom mode to access the desired sector. A section with additional materials is provided.
