Betaflight

Betaflight application is designed for flashing quadcopter controllers. It is possible to make changes in the main parameters of the program part. A large number of devices are supported.

Using the program

To switch to the Expert Mode, which provides more opportunities, you need to activate the Enable Expert Mode tab. Beginners are not recommended to work in this mode, because you can set incorrect settings that will affect the performance of the device. For some receivers it may be necessary to change the parameters of the communication channel. The corresponding settings can be found in the Ports section. For example, for Naze32 controllers you should set the parameter UART2, for SPRacing F3 - UART3. After making the necessary changes you should save the parameters by pressing the corresponding button.

Main Functions

All basic settings are collected on the Configuration tab. If the drone does not support the DSHOT option, then it is recommended to manually change the Throttle parameter. The MOTOR_STOP key allows you to specify the mode of rotation of the motors after the throttle is turned off. For example, if the user presses stop on the remote control, the motors should also stop completely. It is advisable to deactivate this function in advance for stable operation. It is recommended to check this option before flying. The option module allows you to select the optimal parameters to maximize the responsiveness of the device to external commands.
