RealDash

RealDash is a Windows application that allows you to connect to your car's system to collect various information. You can get trip duration, route and speed parameters. You need to use a special connector to connect.

Installation and connection

For full operation, a Microsoft account is required, data exchange is carried out using the RealDash CAN protocol. Connection is supported using a standard USB cable, as well as using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi channels. The data obtained through the utility can be used to adjust dashboards in racing simulators. It is compatible with Xbox and PC games.

Dashboard adjustments

After full synchronization with the electronic block of the car, the user has the opportunity to further customize the mode of data output to the screen. It is necessary to open the "Garage" section and specify the basic parameters of the car. Then it is necessary to go to the "Customization" section and specify the units of measurement for distance and speed. The "Gallery" section allows you to select the layout of sensors and other elements on the dashboard. A wide range of design options is available in the catalog, including paid versions.

Alerts

The "Dinostand" section allows you to measure the current parameters of the trip. The report includes information about torque, average and maximum speed, engine power. The current route of travel is also plotted on the map. The program monitors the parameters and generates an audible signal if any of them exceeds a critical level. In the settings, you can separately configure alerts about low tire pressure, fuel level, deviation from normal engine operation.
