Ryzen Controller is a Windows application for modifying the operation parameters of AMD brand processors. Only Ryzen family chips are supported. The user is able to increase voltage and clock frequency. There is a possibility to explicitly limit the temperature to exclude overheating. It should be taken into account that the application is unofficial, the development team is not related to AMD. At the same time, like most manufacturers, the company has a negative attitude to overlocking, often it is the reason for warranty denial.

Overclocking

After starting the program, there is an opportunity to specify the main overclocking parameters. To do this, you need to enter the maximum clock frequency and power level in special fields. Additionally, you can limit the current. It is possible to create several profiles. For example, you can add a charge-saving mode and separately maximize performance. This allows you to quickly set the desired mode of operation depending on the situation.

In the process of overclocking, the temperature of the crystal inevitably rises, so this parameter must be constantly monitored. If a certain limit is exceeded (depends on the model), protection will start to trigger and there is a possibility of CPU failure. In the process of overclocking it is recommended to increase the parameters by a minimum step, checking the stability of the system. To do this, you can use specialized software that loads the system to check stability. If any deviations occur, you should go back to the previous step and stop changing this parameter. It is important not only to increase the production rate but also to maintain stability.
