EV3 Classroom

EV3 Classroom is a Windows computer utility that allows you to create simple programs to animate robots. For the program to work, you need to buy a special set of parts from the LEGO company. When writing the code, the programming language called MicroPython is used. There is localization of the interface into Russian.

Connection

To start working with the application, the user needs to connect a special device called EV3 to a laptop or PC. Connection is possible in two ways. The first involves the use of a USB cable. The second method allows you to establish a connection via Bluetooth. In the latter case, the laptop or PC must support this type of connection.

Programming

Inside the computer utility there are a number of tips for assembling robots from parts of a special set. The user can design unique structures or use ready-made solutions. After assembling your own robot, the user can write commands for it. For this purpose, a programming language is used. Lessons on it are available in a separate tab of the computer program. Also, the developers have added ready-made lines of code to the application, which can be used if desired. After the commands for the assembled robot are created, the user will be able to control it. In addition, the utility has functions for working with sensors and sensors, which makes it easier to control your creation.
