Parted Magic

This utility allows you to manage hard disk partitions in Linux. It is possible to manage labels. It supports all kinds of file systems. With Parted Magic for Windows you can create, format and delete hard disk partitions. The application is based on the Linux distribution. It is possible to safely delete information without its further recovery.

Getting started

To use the tools included in the program, you need to create a bootable media using UltraISO or a similar application. Once started, the main menu will be shown on the display. The user can use the graphical interface to boot the distribution or do it in command line mode.

Hard Disk Management

The image includes Partition Editor module, which can be used to create, delete and format hard disk partitions. You can choose a file system and volume size. If you need to transfer the OS to another medium, you can make a copy of HDD or SSD with full preservation of all information and installed programs. It is also possible to perform a drive check. In the process of diagnostics the presence or absence of damaged sectors is established and the general condition of disks is assessed. The Erase Disk tool is provided for deleting information without the possibility of subsequent recovery. In addition, the distribution includes a Virus Scanner module that allows you to scan your disk and remove malware.
