Wilcom

Wilcom is a computer editor for Windows devices. With the help of the utility tools you can create your own sketches for further embroidery on special equipment. The functionality of the program will come in handy for both professional designers and amateur embroiderers.

Sketch development

The start page of the utility displays a list of projects. The user can open an existing one to continue working or start developing a new one. In any case, the program opens the built-in editor for designing a sketch. The user can draw curves and straight lines, add various shapes to the picture and so on. The editor allows you to paint elements of the sketch in any color using the built-in palette. In addition, it supports the application of gradient and the creation of inscriptions with the choice of font. In the right part of the interface you can examine the list of past actions. If desired, you can undo previously made changes. The utility also supports the ability to switch between several display modes. It is allowed to open two windows with different display of the picture.

Embroidery

When the sketch is ready, the user can transfer it to the sewing machine. This requires equipment that supports automatic sewing mode. To send the image to the sewing machine, the user needs to open the parameters of the utility. There the program will offer to specify the desired embroidery technique. After that, the user will be able to see how the picture will look like after it is applied to the fabric. If the user is satisfied with the result, he can start the process of sending data to the sewing machine.
