SSD Fresh

SSD Fresh is a Windows application for changing the operating mode of SSD drives. You can optimize settings, extend the life of the drive, and improve performance. You can access SMART data and select recommendations after automatic disk scanning. A separate panel allows you to display the dynamics of the device load in real time, as well as analyze the statistics of the occupied space on the drive in detail. A set of settings can be quickly saved for future use.

Optimization

Regardless of the mode of use (system or external), a few simple manipulations can significantly improve performance and extend the overall life of the module. This is possible due to the peculiarities of SSD operation - it is somewhat different from classic HDDs. For inexperienced users, an automatic mode is provided - the utility will independently analyze the current parameters and form a set of recommendations. This allows you to avoid errors that can lead to slowdown of the drive. The "Optimization" section contains a set of available operations. It is enough to select the necessary ones from the list and activate them. The application allows you to deactivate the tracking service, file indexing, event log and other system components. Many of them initiate a noticeable load without being critical.

Diagnostics

Another useful option is to display information about the current state of the drive. To do this, go to the "Overview" tab and select the desired drive from the list of available drives. Free space statistics, information about logical partitions, file system description and other information will be displayed. SMART information is also loaded, which allows you to evaluate the overall condition of the SSD.
