VotTak

VotTak is an Android application for publishing and watching short videos. The service is implemented in the format of a classic social network. You can rate other people's videos and expand your own audience.

Viewing videos

When you open the program, the main section with the feed is immediately displayed. You can use up or down movement to flip. The built-in algorithm tracks the user's preferences and adapts the content. There is no disliking function. You can only leave a positive assessment and comment. The program allows you to send a link to the video to other users, for example, via messenger. In general, the functionality is noticeably reduced, compared to similar platforms. There is no rewind function, there is only pause, which is activated by clicking on any area. Standard restrictions are provided for the published content - violence, violation of the law, adult content and so on. A separate button allows you to send a complaint to the service representatives.

Video creation

At the time of testing the application, the video creation mode was not implemented. The description notes that work in this direction is actively underway. It will be added in the next updates. It is known that the functionality will be available only after registration. It is planned to add a full-fledged editor for processing recordings. The duration will be limited to one minute. The registration process is standard. The date of birth, password and e-mail are specified. A message with a code is sent for confirmation. Then you can specify personal information and add an avatar. There is a section with settings and a form for contacting representatives of the platform.
