Volvo VIDA

Volvo VIDA is the official diagnostic software for Volvo cars. The program is distributed by the concern itself, so all data read from the car ECU is completely reliable. Volvo VIDA scans and performs diagnostics, helping to service "transport" from Volvo. This program has not been supported by the manufacturer for a long time. The last version of the software was released back in 2014. Accordingly, if you have a car that was released in subsequent years, then this program is not suitable for service.

Features

Volvo VIDA displays detailed statistics and technical data of the car, as well as notifies about all malfunctions that exist in the systems of the vehicle. The software has a special section that has a large reference base for repairing Volvo passenger cars. Another section allows you to "decode" all the error codes.

Using the program

In order to fully diagnose and start working with Volvo VIDA, you need to enter data into the vehicle profile by setting a specific communication tool (adapter), the year of manufacture of the car, type of steering and other parameters. In fact, the program processes the data independently, after you enter the necessary parameters into the profile with information that was not "read" in automatic mode. After you finish configuring the config, you will go to the "Diagnostics" section, where you can look at the ECU diagram for all systems. By clicking on a particular ECU, you will see its detailed characteristics. If the program detects units that have faults, they are highlighted in orange. Volvo VIDA is localized in Russian and contains reference documents.
