PTC Creo

PTC Creo is practically one of the most productive and powerful computer-aided design systems, thanks to its additional modules and extensions designed for various needs of the designer, it is also the heaviest - it requires a lot of space and a productive PC. Because of its versatility and many add-ons, it comes only in a paid version of use, with a few exceptions. If the user is an engineering student at a university, he/she has the opportunity to get this program and use it for free (educational license).

Composition and functionality

There are a great number of different extensions, modules and components included in the PTC Creo program, and we will not list them all, but will focus on the most important and unique ones. One of these applications - Direct, allows you to design three-dimensional structures, can fully display the geometry of the created model and, accordingly, use the full functionality of the module to design various engineering structures, creating unique visual designs. Another of the unique modules called PTC Creo Parametric, in addition to the usual design, allows you to work with two-dimensional drawings and use the rendering tool. Also, as part of the additional modules there is also a component for the special development and design of schematics, as well as unique in its kind "mind-maps". This module is called Illustrate. Other add-ons included in the package allow you to convert drawings to 2D format, as well as check voltages in the created circuits. PTC Creo is able to cope with almost any task of various levels of complexity. PTC Creo can be used in almost any design method, the functionality of this program allows you to create not only ordinary projects, but also projects of electrical circuits, performance verification and overlay projects on the existing landscape. Once purchased the program will be in the possession of the user for life.
