Anvide Seal

Anvide Seal is a Windows application that allows you to set a password on an arbitrary directory. This allows you to protect important files from unauthorized access. You can work in two modes - command line (for advanced users) and graphical shell.

Protection

After opening the program, you need to generate a list of directories that need to be closed. The program supports folders located on an external drive. Different settings and passwords can be used for different objects. At the next step you should specify a password and repeat it for confirmation. A separate field allows you to add a hint to help you remember the key. As an additional protection measure, you can encrypt the contents of files. It is worth considering that if the folder contains a large amount of data, this option can greatly slow down the work of the program.

Customization

For convenience, you can automatically unlock directories when launching the application. In this case, the user is able to work with them through the standard explorer in the normal mode. An additional option allows you to automatically block access to files when the user is inactive for a long time. Even if the user forgets to turn off the PC, the application will automatically activate protection. Integration with the Windows context menu is supported. This will allow you to perform basic operations without launching the program. It is enough to click on the desired folder to call the menu and select the desired item.
